So last week I went ahead and made a turkey for the PTA that I am a part of. I'm pretty sure you all saw the lovely step by step procedure on how to make my turkey. My favorite part... which a ton of people agreed with... make sure you take the casuelas out of the oven!!
So since Thanksgiving is literally almost here.. I decided to share some of my tried and true favorite recipes for Thanksgiving dinner.

Easy Baked Ham
This recipe is super easy!! I got it from a cousin of mine, who also gave me my turkey recipe. Basically I think the easiest baked ham recipe ever!
Ingredients
- 1 spiral sliced smoked ham (make sure it has a packet of dry or wet seasoning)
- 1 bottle of Smucker's Apricot Preserves
- Orange Juice
Directions
- Open your sliced smoke ham and place it your baking container.
- Open the seasoning packet that comes with the ham and empty it into a bowl.
- Empty the whole bottle of Smucker's Apricot Preserves into the bowl.
- Add about a cup of orange juice ( I usually do it by eye... if it looks too dry add some more OJ).
- Pour all throughout the ham (make sure you open the slices and make sure the mixture gets into all the grooves.
- Bake at 350 degrees until you see the ham start to caramelize. It shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes (since the ham is already cooked).
- Take that ham outta the oven and scarf it down!
Is there a dish you cannot have Thanksgiving without?? Tell me about it!!
